Remembering a time when women were classy, sophisticated, seductive... and sexy?

The Sweater Girl Society is a division of the National Sweater Girl Historical Society & Hall of Fame... a non-profit organization that was founded in 2013 by former National Society & Culture Columnist and Modeling Talent Scout, Tamera Reed.

The primary mission of the National Sweater Girl Historical Society & Hall of Fame is to help honor & preserve the history of the "Sweater Girl" fashion and culture which was prominent during the late 1940's - early 1960's, as well as the celebrity women who brought the look to prominence during those years.

"I have always admired & loved the fashion of the 1940's - 1960's... especially the sexy look of the Sweater Girls and Pin-Up Girls of that era. The bullet bras that came out in the late 1940's were, in my opinion, the most flattering bra ever invented for women. The bullet bra emphasized a woman's femininity like no other under garment! I founded the Society in order to pay homage to that fashion style, and all the gorgeous Sweater Girls of that era."

- Tamera Elizabeth Reed, President & Founder of the National Sweater Girl Historical Society & Hall of Fame

The secondary mission of the National Sweater Girl Historical Society & Hall of Fame is to support & promote the modern day resurgence of the bullet bra, as well as the sweater girl retro look.
